Newcomer students arriving in middle or high school face more challenges than just learning English. Adjusting to a new culture and school can be difficult for anyone, much less a teenager trying to fit in.
Only Language Tree Online offers a Newcomers module that includes acculturation support together with functional vocabulary building and scaffolded language instruction. Our goal is to make sure recently arrived students feel comfortable and prepared in their new school environment.

Long-term English learners (LTELs) and more advanced multilingual learners often have underlying gaps in one or more language domains. The Language Tree Online program identifies these critical skill gaps and addresses them with targeted instruction to help learners achieve timely redesignation or reclassification.
A solid grasp of language is foundational for academic success. That's because language doesn't only live in ELA and ELD/ESOL classes. It also lives in math, science, history, and other content areas. Our ELD Level 2 curriculum integrates cross-curricular content within language lessons to help English learners unpack academic language.
